Summary/Abstract: The main aim of this research is to investigate the relationship between social skills and problem bahaviours of the children that their families involve and do not involve in the family involvement activities implemented in preschool education institutions. The sample consisted of 5-6-year age-group 400 children going to 12 preschool institutions in 5 districts of Istanbul that were selected by the random sampling model and their families. The tool used for data collection were Familiy Information Form and Preschool and Kindergarten Behaviours Scales. The data collected for the study were analyzed using SPSS 20 program. The Pearson Product Moment Correlation Analysis Test was used in the analysis of the data. At the end of the research it is found out that there is a significant relationship between social skills and problem behaviours of the children that their families involve and do not involve in the family involvement activities implemented in preschool education nstitutions.
