Summary/Abstract: For the untrained eye, campaign communication means almost exclusively political campaigns. Yet there are so much more campaign-genres from advertising, through social consciousness-stimulation up to lobby campaigns. And political campaigns don’t exist: the parties a) build the image of the party or an individual candidate (PR), or b) mobilize people to join them in an activity (sensi-mob campaigns), or c) gathering votes (election campaign). The paper studies the peculiarities, the targets and the message transmitting methods of the latter.
