Summary/Abstract: This study has assumed that developing socialization tactics for newcomers influences role clarity and organizational trust which leads to reducing stress level and increasing job performance. In this research, questionnaires have been used as data collection tool. Samples consist of 148 newcomers who graduated from Business and Economic Faculty in University of Gaziantep. Structural equation modeling has been used for analyzing the data. In this respect, socialization tactics have a positive effect on role clarity and organizational trust. In addition, whereas there is no relationship between role clarity and job performance, role clarity negatively affects stress level of employees. Thereafter, organizational trust has a negative impact on stress but positive influence on job performance. Lastly, it has been found that stress has no significant effect on job performance.
