Summary/Abstract: Today’s man has a keen interest in the lives of those who receive wide media attention. The media-personality (celebrity) of today has a radically different profile with his/her hallmarks, private life from the ones from previous decades. The study reviews how the press paid attention to the life and work of Lajos Kelemen and examines: can the archivist and historian become a media personality in the 21st century?
