Summary/Abstract: This article focuses on various strategic ways for the company’s growth. It analyzes advantages and disadvantages of these ways, especially of Merger and Acquisitons. One of the most fundamental motives for M&As is growth. Companies seeking to expand are faced with a choice between internal growth and growth through M&As. Internal growth may be a slow and uncertain process. Growth through Merger and Acquisitons may be a much more rapid process, although it brings with it is own uncertainties. Article also presents history of acquisitions, on example Johnson & Johnson company.
