Summary/Abstract: The archive was an important addition of the editorial work in the Anglo-Saxon and German speaking countries. This department accumulated not only the own-produced content, but made media coverages as well, and offered thematic summaries to the journalists, and verified the accuracy of informations before publishing. But this profession is threaten by the danger of disappearing because of the growing and easily manageable databases and the cost saving trends in the media. The interview was made by Gedeon H. Gyula Zsugán with Herbert Staub, the last Mohican who fights for the surviving of the profession and for filling it with new content.
