Summary/Abstract: The lexicography of Utunk by Gyula Dávid presents the history and data repository of the 44 years of existence of the longest-lived Hungarian literary journal in Romania.The journal was published initially biweekly then weekly from 26 January 1951 and was edited by the Hungarian Writers Association of Romania, as indicated in its subtitle. The journal’s last issue was destroyed in the events of the Romanian revolution. The Utunk’s editorial declared the journal’s ceasing yet before the end of that year and created its successor, the Helikon. The first issue of the new journal left the printing house on 5 January 1990.
