Editors and commitments in the old Korunk

Summary/Abstract: The author tries by presenting different points of view to draw a portrait of two determinative Korunk-editors: László Dienes and Gábor Gaál. The article points the intellectual strategies of the monthly journal by presenting the life, the perception and editorial engagement of these two editors. Furthermore it outlines what the two editorial models mean, which served as a base for the restarting the Korunk after 1957 and the new approach applied after 1989.
