Summary/Abstract: The major field of study in this article concerns innovative economic trends in West Pomeranian Voivodeship. The region is specific area with many advantages which can be taken, but with paying attention to the regional policy, development intensity and innovative expansion. That is why I took into consideration conditions of the region as well as its present status of development and future prospects of MSP sector. The innovative West Pomeranian development determinants were presented with the data concerning research on innovative activity of small business in the region.
