The Pre-Scythian Moon-Shaped Badges of Eastern and Central Europe

Summary/Abstract: The article studies moon-shaped badges of pre-Scythian period. They are divided into six types. The first type includes badges that are not decorated by circles on their surface. Badges that are decorated by three circles characterize the second type. There are four circles on the surface of badges of the third type and five circles on the surface of the fourth type. Badges of the fifth type are decorated by six circles. The last, sixth, type includes badges with seven circles on the surface. The article also contains a chronological characteristic of moon-shaped badges.
