Summary/Abstract: The article is a complete publication of the recently excavated burial mound that contains burials dated by the time span of the Bronze – late Middle Ages. The burial mound is located on the right bank of the river Kuban’ on the territory that for ages used to serve as a contact zone between the steppe nomads and inhabitants of the Northern Caucasus foothills.A series of middle Bronze burials in the barrow 4 is of special interest due to wooden chariots that are a key element of the funeral structure. The mound of this barrow has a good stratification, and most graves of the Bronze Age are connected with consequent additions to the mound.
