Summary/Abstract: “Crisis” is a word that for decades has been one of the most commonly used nouns in the public sphere. According to L. Kolakowski, all the phenomena in which we see the crisis and even the fall of Christianity are not unequivocal. The particularly dangerous form of the crisis and secularization of the Christian world according to the Polish philosopher is the blurring of the boundaries between the sacred and the profane. The action of the Church itself is often the cause of this situation. L. Kołakowski’s views on Christianity and his crisis are cautious. The philosopher is not afraid of an early fall of Christianity; on the contrary, he goes to say that religion can never die.
