Summary/Abstract: The results of the experiment dealing with the study of nickel and lead migration through the soil profile have been presented in the work. Special attention has been paid to zoogenic factor of heavy metal migration. The usage of entropy measure to assess the heavy metal distribution in the soil profile has been proposed. The entropy evenness index has been shown to permit quantity estimation of the migration processes in the horizontal and vertical direction. The evenness of metal distribution in vertical direction is more active than in horizontal direction. The soil animals have an impotent role in the processes of increasing of horizontal heavy metal migration.
