On the Saints Represented in the Byzantine Icon of the Triumph of Orthodoxy in the British Museum in London

Summary/Abstract: The article is dedicated to the study of the saints depicted in the representation of the Triumph of Orthodoxy in the icon probably made in Constantinople around 1400 which is now kept at the British Museum in London. New identifications of certain figures are proposed. Questions are posed as to how the scene was shaped and which writings were the basis for its creation.
