Summary/Abstract: The pure description of knowledge and skills does not fully reflect the competence of social workers based on practical experience. In practice the competences have to convey with the creativity in order to find solutions for new and complex problems. Nevertheless the personality of the social worker (used as a “tool”) and the professional relationship with clients is the main factor for sustainable and efficient solutions in the process of helping.
