Support action implemented in the development of creative activity in urban areas

Summary/Abstract: In recent years, more and more often urban centers take steps to strengthening their role increative industries in the city economy. The aim of the work to describe the most common actions aimed atthe development of creative industries in various cities of Europe. Based on collected data and case studiesthe author presents conclusions, grouped according to financial aid for entrepreneurs, social actions, initialingcreative clusters and revitalization of urban areas.
