The Conception of Natural Philosophy in the View of Tadeusz Wojciechowski: An Attempt at Reconstruction

Summary/Abstract: This article tries to answer the question of the concept of natural philosophy in the view of Tadeusz Stanisław Wojciechowski (1917–2000), a professor of philosophy at the Pontifical Academy of Theology in Cracow. The article consists of an introduction, a biographical section, a chapter devoted to the analysis of the method of practicing the philosophy of nature by T. Wojciechowski, and finally it attempts to summarize and evaluate his attitude.Preliminary analysis shows that the method of practicing the philosophy of nature by T. Wojciechowski was original, taking into account the historical context. This concept is located between traditional neo-scholastic answers and modern views in the theory of the philosophy of nature.
