Profile of the Ideal Presidential Candidate

Summary/Abstract: Last years’ presidential election campaigns’ data show that less and less citizen votes in Romania. Young voters are a special segment, which according to the surveys do not attend these politically defined actions. One explanation of this may be that the candidates do not fulfill these target-groups’ pretences with their election programs, or that the whole candidate profile is inadequate. The aim of the research presented in this paper was to identify those elements which are important for the young Hungarian voters in Romania when voting in a presidential election.
