Summary/Abstract: The present text presents the letter of a Hungarian-Jewish journalist, András Arató, addressed to the President of the Transylvanian Party, count Béla Teleki, written on the occasion of his deportations in 1944. We also present the original text of the document, which besides being a valuable historical source, has a major ethical value as well.
