New data about Eneolithic agricultural tools in South-Eastern Europe

Summary/Abstract: The article presents a serious of various agricultural tools from Eneolithic sites in Bulgaria (the Varna culture). They are connected with different operations related to cultivation of soil, harvesting and processing of crop. The research of the tool-kit items shows a great variety of agricultural inventory of this period. The appearance of new types of tools (ards, threshing boards, metal mattocks) and improving of old types have raised the degree of technical base of agriculture in general. The reached level of agrotechnics contributed to further development of economical structure of the epoch under discussion.
