Summary/Abstract: Nowadays opinions on play at preschool are very controversial. If we raise the question whether teachers provide enough opportunities for play we can answer yes without hesitation: never before has been seen such a wide range of toys in preschools as nowadays. But if we consider children’s everyday play and their interaction in play, the situation is not that simple, especially not in terms of play in the family at home.
