Summary/Abstract: Reports about miracles of Jesus of Nazareth in the Gospel according to St. Matthew are present in the entire book. A specific style of the narration and the linguistic form typical of the Gospel are characteristic of them. In many cases Matthew shortens greatly Mark’s reports used as sources. With received oral reports of events he not only builds isolated reports about miracles, but also entire blocks of text. Matthew also speaks about miracles in his summaria and in texts, in which he speaks about the miracle activity of Jesus and in this way he paints a picture of Jesus as a miracle-worker. In the center of the stories about miracles we have the disciples and their faith. These stories constitute also paradigms of believers in Christ, which come and present their requests to Him and He hears them out and answers with His action.
