Summary/Abstract: The author approached the works of Lev Manovich through the choice of certain keywords and their detailed presentation, and outlining at the same time various perspectives on the possibilities of interface and aesthetics in new media. The accessibility of Manovich’s writings (they can all by downloaded from manovich.net), the network-like, serial structure of the thoughts that seem to generate each other tempt the reader to find ways of approach in the metaphors of dictionary, blog,or the web, and think about the textual or visual forms or repetition.
