Summary/Abstract: in this paper we are dealing with the concept, method of use, effects and re levance of the creative interview as a basic element in the opus of the first journalist on the planet who received the nobel Prize for Literature in 2015, Svetlana aleksievich. The paper will analyze her works, created through the decades-long interviewing of marginalized social groups, skillfully hidden in the shadow by political decisions (women participating in World War ii, survivors of the Chernobyl catastrophe, Soviet soldiers-participants in the war in avganistan ...). The analysis of the „Chernobyl Prayer” will show the way and the process of Svetlana aleksievič’s interviews, her careful selecti on of collocutors, structure and construction of the questions asked; we will examine the dramaturgy of her interviews and compilation of books of do cumentary prose, which the author herself called the „novels of voices”. The place of interviews in post-journalism and new journalism will be shown, together with the analysis of the process of writing non-fiction novels, first started by Truman Capote, journalist-writer and Svetlana aleksievich’s role model.
