Summary/Abstract: In this interview Szilárd István Szász asks how Professor Barabási realized his professional achievements and followed the path to international success. From the interview we learn interesting details about his childhood, adolescence and Barabási’s studies, and he explains some key theories of networks. The article is addressed especially to young researchers: it guides to study abroad, which will help to broaden the scope of interests and activities, and personality.But the most important thing, says Barabási, is that this: knowledge acquired abroad most to be invested at home, in the community from which the young researcher comes.
