Summary/Abstract: The problem of the origin question of the Noric and Pannonian burial mounds has occupied researchers interested in this topic since the beginning of the 20th century. In the earlier technical literature meets two theories: K. Sági, later H. Kerchler and other archaeologists considered an Italic-Roman origin likely. In their opinion, the hill tomb center was spread by Roman soldiers, merchants and the civilian population along with the Romanization and the prototypes of the provincial Roman burial mounds were the round graves of the city of Rome.
