On the archaeology of the treasure I and II of Szilágysomlyó

Summary/Abstract: The time for the szilágysomlyó exhibition, which was arranged in 1999 by the Art History Museum and the Hungarian National Museum, was favorably chosen: the editors (G. Dembski, A. Kiss, K. Gschwantler) were partly published in the recent past, some unpublished Dissertations and essays written partly for the catalog, so that the exhibition catalog in principle reflects the latest research results. At the same time, the preparations for the exhibition gave me the opportunity to take a closer look at several exhibits kept in the Art History Museum that could not be examined before, or to compare the finds in Budapest and Kolozsvár (Cluj-Napoca / Cluj-Napoca) and certain new ones Gain knowledge.
