The role and place of the information structures in the National Safety and Security System

Summary/Abstract: In the era of Globalization and the explosion of Information, a simple detaining or knowing the Information is no longer considered Power. Knowledge is power, and the knowledge is facilitated by the Information Analysis. The Information Analysis is not a phase of the cycle of information/intelligence, but it is accompanying every phase from all the phases, validating the objectives or priorities, influencing the collection of information. The analysis is also art and science, which is why both faces should be developed, just as the teamwork and individual study should be stimulated simultaneously. The information cannot be collected and analyzed in a singular way, disparate, it must be put in relation with other data and logic facts, then introduced within the Informational system, on the flux/stream where it could be appreciated the value and opportunity, which are direct proportional with the speed of circulation in the informational system, on every components, until the decisional one.
