Summary/Abstract: The lecture draws a rough picture about the connection between the ecclesiastical and laical press in Transyilvania, during the 20th century. The Christian Sower, the magazine of the Unitarian Church assumed the role of coordination for the renewing Transylvanian literature. The Minerva publisher was run by the historical Hungarian churches. More from the intellectuals staying close to the churches were involved in the literary and public life, and the connections between the press can be defi ned also from this perspective. During communism the this connection has been changed. Starting the 50’s the connection between the laical and church press becomes parallel. The national state ordainments used austere censorship, and this leaded to splayed routes.
