Summary/Abstract: Since Tito's death, international attention has lost track of Yugoslavia while the country is in one of its worst economic crises. The serious problems that Yugoslavia's economy is currently struggling with can be characterized by the following keywords: inflation, declining living standards, shortages of supply, growing foreign debt, weak exports, shortage of foreign exchange, shortage of raw materials and megalomania in the investment field.
