Summary/Abstract: The article publishes the data on a hoard of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, found on the territory of Moldova, but kept at present at the regional museum in Nikolaev (Ukraine). Out of 131 coins, most likely made of silver, 130 were identified. These are semi-groats of Alexander I, Sigizmund I the Old and Sigizmund II Augustus, coined in 1501-1565. The authors consider that penetration of such coins in Moldova reflected most general process of Polish and Lithuanian expansion into the Eastern Europe.
