Summary/Abstract: The region of Lower Silesia, with its capital Wrocław, was already one of the most radi-cal within the independent trade union movement before December 13, together with the textile town of Łódz. Its leader, Władysław Frasyniuk, lives in the underground since the imposition of martial law. On May 12, 1982, the Warsaw Underground maga-zine Solidarność "Tygodnik Mazowsze" published the following interview with him.
