Summary/Abstract: Faith is man’s personal response to the word of the Son of God, which He addressed to every human, which is the word of love that gives meaning to human life. Because Christ came to reveal to man not only Himself, but also to reveal God and His love. A person expresses his faith accepting Christ and His Gospel. Special moments in everyone’s life that are associated with the profession of faith, and at the same time, with a commitment to the professing of the faith, are the sacraments: the sacrament of matrimony during which the spouses are not only publicly profess their faith, but also commit themselves to pass the faith to their children. Also, when asking for baptism for their children, they once again assume the obligation of raising their children in the faith, that is sharing their personal experiences of meeting the Son of God. In this context marriage and the family is the first environment of sharing one’s faith and family members are the first recipients of faith and evangelization, while every person in the family is the recipient of the testimony of faith. So it is a community of mutual growth in faith through witness. As if a natural consequence of a life of faith in the family, we find the fulfillment of the vocation to holiness and the eschatological perspective in which the members of the family direct their eyes, thoughts, heart and steps to where they have prepared a place for them by the Son of God: the Kingdom of His Father in heaven.
