Christ`s Salvific Love as the Salt of the Earth

Summary/Abstract: The article regards two basic soteriological ideas, namely of salvation and of redemption. First, special attention is given to the nature of salvific language used in the New Testament. Then, special emphasis falls on the different theological theories which explain the moment of Christ`s redemption and the impact of God`s salvific grace on the believers and by them on the world. Solely in this way Christians can be the salt of the Earth.
