Summary/Abstract: Today, economic capital is not considered as the only form of capital, but other types of capital, especially in human development, are considered. Therefore, this study examines how much social and cultural capital of a family can affect the success of students in gaining access to the university? The research method of this paper is based on the survey, which emphasizes Bourdieu's cultural capital theory and the social theory of social capital of Coleman. In the same conditions in the field of economics, the cultural capital of the family, as Bourdieu stated, was based on the academic achievement of highly effective students Is however, the social capital effect, despite Coleman¸ particularly on two areas of internal and external family relationships, is rejected.
