The Formation of the Conscience in the Family

Summary/Abstract: The formation of one’s conscience is a fundamental issue for man. The most important task in this area is assigned to the family. It is the duty of parents to form their child’s conscience appropriately, to teach the reasonable use of freedom and to shape a sense of responsibility. The aim of the article is to discuss the most important aspects of this issue. The author also presents the ways the Church supports families in order to help them to experience their meeting with God, to recognize Him through faith and to appreciate the role of the faith in shaping their lives.
