Summary/Abstract: This psychological analysis of the family systems of marriages religiously involved is based on a comparative analysis of data obtained from studies made by using the following methods: Scale of Success in Marriage, List of Expectations of Marriage, Family Schematic Picture and Scale of Family Attitudes. These methods were developed by Maria Braun-Gałkowska. The study was conducted on a group of 60 families. One half of the group are people involved in marriage and family-life spirituality of the Catholic Church by participating in the Movement “Families of Nazareth”, the other half are married Catholic families living their faith traditionally. The analysis of the results indicated the differences in the functioning of the compared family systems. Spouses involved religiously have a greater satisfaction with their relationship, they have higher expectations of marriage, better interpersonal relationships and a more uniform approach to marriage and parenting. They create a climate of a family life, which is conducive to personal development of all family members.
