Happiness of Life in the State of Grace – Truth and Freedom in Marriage

Summary/Abstract: God, having created man with love and calling him to a life of love, wants him to be happy and that life to bring him joy. One of the main roads to the fulfillment of this call to love is through life in marriage and family. In order for one to be happy and to help one’s marital partner and children to live a happy life, one must uncover the truth about love that has its origin is God, who is Love, and to put to action this truth in one’s life. The Creator, knowing our weaknesses, gives marital partners the help they need through the grace of the Sacrament of Matrimony, so that in creating a community of life and love, they always freely choose what serves the common good in marriage, which is – as Pope John Paul II says – each person making up the marital and family community: wife, husband, child, parents, and take care of this common good, in order to live in happiness and true love.
