Summary/Abstract: Even though, postmodern epoch attempted the removal of God from individual and social life, it did not ultimately get rid of the person’s relationship with God. New circumstances brought the challenge of working on the criteria of the communion with God, not only for the lay people, but also for the priests. The reference to the synthesis of the circumstances of communion with God recorded by Saint Luke gave the foundation for the larger reflection on the priestly communion with God. Priest as a witness of Christ in the world is invited into communion with God through remaining in the teaching of the Apostles (1), in community (2), on the breaking of bread (3) and in prayer (4).
