Selected Issues of Matrimonial-Sexual Morality in the Opinion of 18-Year Old Youth. A Sociological Analysis

Summary/Abstract: The modern family is undergoing profound and radical change. This gives rise to transformation of marriage and sexual morality. In order to learn about it, feedback from eighteen-year-olds of a small town of Ostrow Mazowiecka was examined about: sexual freedom, autoeroticism, premarital sex, contraception, abortion, religious marriage, adultery and divorce. Based on the empirical material obtained, it can be concluded that young people are attached to the rank and stability of marriage, while distancing themselves from the Catholic sexual ethics.
