Summary/Abstract: The article presents an analysis of distance platforms used to study a foreign language, in terms of their focus on people with special needs. The problem of insufficient attention of developers to this category of students is raised. The difficulties in teaching a foreign language to people with limited health possibilities are listed. It is noted that teaching a foreign language the people with limited health possibilities is primarily correctional. A comparative analysis of platforms is made. The advantages of working with the Blackboard platform are described in detail.
