Summary/Abstract: The author publishes fragments of fish plates and lamps of Roman time from Tyra with relief images of mythological characters. Materials are stored in the funds of the Odessa Archaeological Museum and Belgorod-Dnestrovskiy Regional Museum. The following images have been considered: Helios on chariot, Sphinx, Griffin, Capricorn, Maenad riding mule, Eros. The most numerous group of relief images is Helios standing in a chariot drawn by four horses.Analysis of the scenes has shown that the motives were borrowed from Greek art of Hellenistic time. Though the images being published were placed on the items not connected directly with cult, they could have had protective function.
