Summary/Abstract: The feminization of occupational nouns is a topic that has been debated many times in the past years due to the ambiguities that tend to appear when using these types of nouns in Spanish. The doubts that speakers often face when forming and integrating these words into their daily speech are even more pronounced when it comes to military titles, seeing as how, from a historical standpoint, there is a very strong masculine prevalence and a very recent incorporation of women to this professional field. The present study focuses on the current use of female military occupational nouns based on various interviews taken in Spain during the year 2015.
