Summary/Abstract: Study is focused on a problem with evaluation and self-evaluation as a fundamental way of growth of all educational field, learning and teaching. On the centre of discussion is terminological clarification of the content and functional meaning of terms evaluation and self- evaluation and its place on methodology of educational sciences and research area of teacher profession.
