Summary/Abstract: This paper looks to analyse the priorities set by the EU Global Strategy in relation to Moldova, with a focus on the mechanisms and instruments related to the resilience concept. By examining the key objectives of EUGS in the area of resilience and state building, this paper will evaluate the EU’s potential to build up a ‘more resilient’ Moldova in a very challenging environment of‘state capture’ and fragile democracy.
