Summary/Abstract: The cognitive value of contemporary political science is the result of a consensus which largely ignores the methodological dispute between naturalism and antinaturalism, assuming that the scientific of political knowledge is less important than its postulated usefulness. The text attempts to indicate the epistemological perspective, which is a response to the formal removal of knowledge about social facts from the resources of science theory by Karl R. Popper. It is therefore a question of how the synthesis of social knowledge and natural sciences can be removed from politics by the invective pseudo-science, to which its contemporary luminaries have contributed significantly, limiting knowledge to the quantification of typical social-science behaviours, and recognizing this as undeniable on the basis of methodology.
