Summary/Abstract: The article considers the phenomenon of racism in the contemporary Poland, which as argued by the author, has recently intensified. As a result of two crucial social processes (migration from Ukraine and development of international cooperation in the field of higher education), previously monocultural Poland has witnessed a significant increase of the number of foreigners. Besides, along with with the refugee crisis and terrorist attacks in the Western Europe, foreigners (especially Muslims) have become pretty visible in the Polish media. Due to the context of their presentations in which they openly connect Islam to terrorism, xenophobic and racist moods are on the rise. Phenomenon of racism is analyzed in the text through the prism of Gordon Allport’s pyramid of hate with the texts and comments published on the selected facebook fanpages as the empirical basis.
