Summary/Abstract: Translation between related languages is often more complicated than expected. The closer the languages are in their origin, the stronger the interference between them, which the translator is exposed to. The interference can happen not only in the receiving language, but also in the source language. There is asymmetry in any pair of languages in regard to the lexical computability. The practice of translation and foreign language learning prove that there is need for more comparative studies because of the difficulties in this field.
