Summary/Abstract: Presentation of the survey on determinants of CFOs decisions on issuing new shares and repurchasing own shares in Polish listed companies. Survey among 200 CFOs in Polish listed comapnies on the base of the questionnaire prepared by the author. Computer Assisted Telephone Interview (CATI) method was used to conduct the survey. The results of the Polish survey has been confronted with major financial structure theories and compared with earlier findings from Western Europe and North America
