The Family in Father M. Sopocko’s teaching

Summary/Abstract: In his publications, Rev. Michał Sopoćko gave a very clear and still relevant idea of a family and its problems. He was aware of the vital role of families in the development of the nation and the Church. He did not only point out risks, but also gave detailed instructions how to overcome family problems in the spirit of the faith. According to his teachings, the sacrament of marriage was the basis of moral order in families. The article aims at the presentation of family questions in the light of Rev. Michał Sopoćko’s writings.
